Speaker - Mr. Tarek Sasy, Dark Web Intelligence Analyst, of the Michigan State Police - Intelligence Operations Division
Before joining the MC3, Tarek was a Unit Manager with the Michigan Public Safety Communication Systems (MPSCS) where he oversaw Systems Security and incident response. He spent 4 years as an Endpoint Detection and Response admin with the Michigan Security Operations Center (MiSOC), he also has 10 years of experience in project management, server virtualization, systems architecture, and change management. He brings 16 years of public service, including work as a Corrections Officer on the Gang Intelligence Unit and as a reserve deputy with the Ingham County Sheriff's Office. Tarek has a BA in Social Psychology and MS in Systems Engineering.
