West Michigan AFP is hosting a half day session in our commitment to bringing meaningful content and networking opportunities to our members.

Please join us for an informative afternoon speaking about true crime & financial files, and the momentum of West Michigan & a regional economic update.

Speakers:
Andria Romkema, Business Development, The Right Place
Andria leads The Right Place’s Prosperity team, which consists of our business development, technology and MMTC-West teams, driving growth and economic vitality throughout the region. She also leads Tech Week Grand Rapids, a community-wide event that brings 16,000+ people together to celebrate innovation and inspire collaboration in the region’s tech community.

 


Mandy Cooper, SVP of Strategic Growth, Lakeshore Advantage
As Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Mandy partners with federal, state, and local units of government along with civic and community organizations to advance economic initiatives in the Lakeshore region. Her work includes advancing talent and education initiatives as well as other major economic initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. Mandy participates in numerous community boards. Mandy joined the team in 2018 with 20 years of experience working with organizations in the Holland/Zeeland community, first as an executive vice president for marketing and communications firm, The Image Group, then as Director of Advancement at Zeeland Christian Schools where she led a $5.4 million capital campaign.  


Franklin Schneider, CFE, Forensic, Accountant, FBI Agent
Franklin is a trial experienced FBI Forensic Accountant for the last four years. Previously, he served 21 years with the U.S. Department of Labor. This included 13 years at EBSA investigating pension and welfare plans, followed by nine years at OLMS conducting audits and criminal investigations involving union fraud and corruption.
